Making Photostories,
The past two weeks in class we have been making photo stories, what theres are are stories that are shown by a audio recording typing photos, and videos, all rolled into one video . They don’t look like they take allot of work but they do trust me.
First you have to get a story then wright the whole thing out preferably one with emotion. Then we highlighted things that we felt we needed to include in the photostory . Then we had to turn the highlighted sections into a script. After you are happy with your script you have to go photo hunting You don’t need pictures of the actual event you can use things with symbolic meaning or anyone else’s as long as they are creative commons. ten you have to add pans and zooms to your photo to and effects. then you do your audio recordings and you text then you add music and your done. They took a lot of work but in the end they turned out really god and it was really fun.
Similarities,
We watched some of the kids from L.A’s videos on what it is to be American ( ours where about being Canadian). They where different in many ways ut the same in a few . Ours both where about being Canadian/ American and it being good. No one said it was a bed thing to be where we where from. Alot of ours where about our rights and so where theres.
Differences.
We had many more differences the similarities all most all of theres had something to do with immigration and how they moved from Mexico or another country. When in our class none of us are from another country and neither are our parents. We where all born and raised in Canada. A lot of us talked about free health care for everyone the states dont have this and we feel that it is a very important thing to have. We all so talked about nature and its beauty this they didn’t. They talked a lot about voting and freedom of speech.
