Monkey see Monkey do .
In Diani Beach, Kenya they had a problem the rare and beautiful Angolan was becoming close to extinction do to the fact that to many of them where becoming road kill attempting to run across the highway .
Until one bright local man came up with the idea of the Colobridges. They are large rope bridges hung above the high ways from one tree to another. These are like monkey highways. Many species of monkey have been using them to ensure a safe crossing.
I think that this was a really good idea first of all it saves thousands of animals a year and it’s a really unique idea. My only concern is how much weight can these rope bridges hold. What if one day a large group are climbing across and it suddenly snaps because it simply cannot support that much weight .I think that it is a very good of them to elp the animals when they are in such low numbers.
